Photographic Workshops
$100 / 4 sessions
One hour workshop per week for 4 weeks
One hour of photographic activity/homework per week beyond each workshop
Workshops can be conducted online or in person

For students 13-18 years old
3-8 students per class
Prerequisites for these workshops: there is no prerequisite knowledge for this workshop. It will be suitable for those who have been shooting in automatic mode for some time and want to develop their skills. Students will have a natural appetite and motivation for photography, and will be ready to take lots of pictures!
Equipment: at least a compact camera (with manual functions). A DSLR camera (with interchangeable lens) is best. You should have a computer and an internet connection to work on your photos, access the workshops via videoconference (if we meet virtually), and share your photos online.
Objectives of these four workshops are to deepen the interest of apprentice photographers by giving them confidence in their photographic work through increased knowledge of their tools, good photographic practices and known references. To achieve this, the apprentice photographers will learn about the key features of cameras and their use in manual or semi-manual mode; they will discover the fundamentals of photography on exposure and composition; they will be inspired by historical and contemporary references; they will discover tips to develop and improve their practice.
