Our family moved from Europe to Canada in July 2020.
As if a pandemic wasn’t exciting enough for this peculiar year. A year and a half later and we’ve had time to settle in our new environment. We got to know Haligonians, discovered parts of Nova Scotia, made new friends and, yes, worked and contributed to nation building as well. I enjoy seasons and I have to admit I was looking forward to the colourful fall and a proper winter. I was not disappointed on both accounts. Winter, I am told, is not what it once was, but it was good enough for me. I enjoyed strolling around Halifax during these cold and snowy evenings.
I joined a local photography club which I recommend for anyone with an interest in photography. Some of the photos here were taken during outings with fellow photographers.
